Elon James White hails from Brooklyn, New York. Raised in Bed-Stuy Elon learned to use his sense of humor to keep out of trouble. After a forray into Corporate America, Elon tried his hand in the world of Stand-Up. Since then he's performed across the east coast, bringing his "...natural and Unforced..." style of comedy to the masses. He has worked with Laughing Liberally and was featured in the DC Comedy Festival. In 2004 Elon founded the Brooklyn Comedy Company ("...upping the ante..." TIMEOUT NY) ("A comedy scene grows in Brooklyn..." NY PRESS) which has produced shows all through out NYC. In 2005 BcCo premiered "Shades of Black" which has been featured in both the New York Underground Comedy Festival and DC Comedy Festival.
In 2007, Elon with fellow BcCo alum Baron Vaughn formed The Black Comedy Project, an online magazine discussing the past, present and future of Black Comedy. In 2008, as an extension of the BcP Elon, in conjunction with The Tank created The Black Comedy Experiment. A weekend festival showcasing the best in Stand-Up, Sketch and Solo performances with the funniest Mainstream and Black Alt comedians.
