| On December 21, 1980 in Baltimore, Maryland there was a great fire and much was lost, yet out of that smoke walked a baby, a baby amongst babies. Actually, it was a cat but from far away it really could have passed for a baby. Growing up in the 80’s Jason Weems wanted to be the same thing as every other little boy: Hulk Hogan, Sunny Crockett and MacGyver. Around the age of 12, he realized these were all middle-aged white men who lived on the edge and it probably wouldn’t work out for him. Though very shy growing up, he always saw the world a little bit different than everyone else. By his senior year in high school, he made the decision he wanted to try comedy. Then, he thought a few years about that decision. Finally, that thought materialized and here he is, a standup comedian living in Baltimore and working out of the Baltimore/ Washington area. He has performed from coast to coast, was a finalist in Detroits international Comedy Festivals Comedy Idol Competition and a Semi-finalist in the California Comedy Festival.
